Store
Our Museum Store is full of unique gifts that relate to the exhibits in our Fred Whitten Gallery or South Carolina history. It is a great place to find palmetto themed items such as pottery, decorative towels, or metal ware. These items have become quite popular as bridal shower and wedding gifts.
The Museum Store has an extensive collection of books for all ages. Whether you are interested in Anderson County history, military stories, or African-American literature, there is a book for you. We currently have our limited edition book, Trade Street, for sale. This treasure contains 150 black and white and color photographs, postcards, and artifacts from the Museum's archives. It was compiled and edited by ACM director, Beverly Childs, and volunteer Carl Compton. The price is $30 and the book WILL sell out! All proceeds from the sale of Trade Street go to fund the Museum's transportation exhibit due to open in 2013.
You can also find local Anderson County made products at the Museum Store including CocoBon Chocolatier chocolates, pralines, Rip Rap, and hot chocolate, as well as Split Creek Farm products. We also carry South Carolina Certified Grown items.
