Livery Stable
The McGee Brother's harness shop allows visitors to see, firsthand, the tools and machines used for harness making and leather repair. Inside the livery stable, all the makings of a traditional harness shop can be found, professionally preserved by the Anderson County Museum. A blacksmith's forge is located outside the stable which includes an anvil, drill, seeder, bending press and plowshares. This wonderful addition to the Anderson County Museum lets visitors "step into the past", gaining a true experience of an authentic harness shop.
