Keep the Home Fires Burning
Visitors will find various artifacts, relics and personal items of men and women who served in many of America’s military involvements. From the Revolution to the War in Iraq, the museum pays homage to American military history on a both a local and national level. Anderson County Museum proudly and humbly displays helmets, uniforms and armament along with precious items that were used or belonged to those involved in the military. Included in the museum are exhibits on Anderson County’s own Medal of Honor recipient, Corporal Freddie Stowers and an authentic field kitchen.
