Called to Worship
Religion has existed in the modern-day Anderson County since the first settlers arrived. Follow the history of religion in Anderson County from the initial settling of Presbyterians, followed by Methodists, Episcopalians and Baptists in the Upcountry. Today, the county is home to over 300 Christian, Islamic and Judaist places of worship. Visit the Religion exhibit at Anderson County Museum to learn more about the origins and growth of religious practice in the area.
